Laying Underneath the Palm Trees......

Cropped t-shirt - River Island

White vest top - Primark

Jeans - New Look

Necklace - DollyBowBow

Shoes - F+F at Tesco

Earring - on holiday in Turkey

Hi lovelies! This is just a basic outfit I wore to uni today. The weather is really nice at the moment so I thought I would get some use out of this summery top that I got in the River Island sale last year for just £7. I really have a thing for palm trees....no idea why!

If you haven't heard of Dolly Bow Bow then you should definately take a look at the online shop. The company is run by a lovely girl called Kate (she also does some awesome youtube videos that you should check out!) and her jewellery designs are gorgeous. I got the pineapple necklace for my Christmas and the dinosaur one (I'll most likely post it here at some point) for my birthday. The jewellery is so pretty and cute and is reasonably priced for something a little different from the high street.

Now I'm not really a piercings or tattoos kind of person but recently I've been thinking of getting my ear pierced right where that silver cuff is in the picture. I think it would be nice to shake it up a bit lol.

I love these shoes because whenever I wear them I feel like Tinkerbell!

This is my new coat! Look how happy I am lol I got this in the H+M sale for just £15! I was going to get the camel colour one but my little sister said that the colour washed me out and that this one would brighten me up and she was right, all day I've been walking round campus like a little ray of sunshine, lovely!

Make up

Nivea Tinted Moisturiser in Natural

Max Factor Mastertouch Concealer in Ivory

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Pink Blossom

Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Hazel

Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara in Rich Black

and my beloved pink Chanel lipgloss!

I don't really wear too much make up during the day so this is a typical look for me for everyday.

I'm Back!/Tuesday Treats

Hey! So I know I sort of fell by the wayside with my blog but I'm prepared to try again. At the time when I gave up I was feeling a little disheartened, like I didn't know what I wanted my blog to be about and it really was the last thing on my mind what with everything else going on at the same time. But now i'm back! I've discovered that I shouldn't think too hard about what my blog should be about, all that matters is that I enjoy it. So speaking of enjoying things, lets get round to my Tuesday Treats this week:

Tuesday Treats: Week 1

This week I discovered an amazing fashion blogger, Frida Johnson. I love her style which is simple but well put together. I like her palette of neutral colours teamed with cool accessories and her shoes are just to die for! To see more of Frida's brilliant outfits, just click on this link.

Ok, so your probably wondering why the heck I've got a picture of Doritos on here but the sickening reality is that I've had more than my fair share this week! Last week I had cravings for Doritos like you wouldn't believe! So when my boyfriend and I were at the movies (we went to see Hall Pass) I got some and then proceded to eat them on Wednesday and Friday and over the weekend! It's probably fair to say that I've sickened myself on them and that the mere sight of junk food makes me wanna puke haha Hopefully next week I'll have cravings for lettuce or celery ha!

As most of you will probably know after all the advertisements, Scream 4 has been released 11 years after Scream 3. When I saw these trailers I realised that I'd never actually seen any of the films before and would quite like to see the latest one. and with that me and my boyfriend embarked on a Scream Marathon haha we watched all 3 movies wihin the week and really enjoyed ourselves, laughing at the horror movie cliches, the amount of people who were now famous that appeared in them and for me, the horrendous outfits that Courtney Cox wears in every movie. I'm hoping that this time the costume department get it right Courtney!

Apologies for the terrible picture but the lighting in my room at that point in time was pretty awful. What I'm trying to display here are my gel pens that I bought last week. After heading into uni last week and realising that I didn't have a pen with me (yeah, daft I know) I popped into WHSmiths to pick one up when I spotted these scented gel pens. I was immediately transported back to Primary 7 when scented gel pens were THE thing of the moment. Everyone had them and the list of scents and colours were about a mile long. The ones I bought last week are mint, blueberry and the orange one was a present from my lil sis because she knew I liked them (aww bless her!). The pens themselves don't really smell but once you have written with them if you smell the page you pick up a lovely scent. Not really a necessity for every day uni work but a lovely little luxury :)

I am well aware that the US is probably way ahead of us Brits in the tv shows but I can't help but be excited that the ladies of Wisteria Lane are back on our tv screens! This isn't a new season though it feels like it should be what with the massive break, we are continuing season 7 and ooh the drama! Can't wait to get all caught up in the story line again. And may I say, hasn't Vanessa Wiliams fitted in really well?
